In 2004, Bitty Ramírez Portilla, a seasoned travel expert with a deep love for her country, had a vision: to show travelers a side of Guatemala that went beyond the expected.

That vision brought together biologists, ornithologists, conservationists, NGOs, and tourism professionals with one shared purpose: to position Guatemala as a world-class destination for nature and meaningful travel.

What began with a strong focus on birdwatching, conservation, and nature travel has evolved over more than 20 years into a family-run travel company designing highly personalized journeys.
